This song has none of the sparkly optimism of first love, or easy love; it is a story about something surprising happening at the hardened end of a long line of disappointments. Not even good or bad necessarily – just surprising. Her voice is disillusioned and powerful. The chorus swells like a tempest. It will leave you dizzy and buzzing.
