Sometimes late at night I can hear my neighbors parties through the walls and it makes me feel lonely but also alive and young that I live in this thin-walled world where people are having parties. Honestly my neighbors are nice so they probably wouldn’t mind if I went over and hung out at their party, but they’re also like 22 and wear Goodwill fur coats and Doc Martens and sometimes I hear them talking about Art and Love in ways that make it hard for me not to feel old so I usually stay at home, smiling and half listening to the muffled sounds of them growing up. It sounds a bit like this song.
