Recently my boss came up to my desk and handed me an enamel pin of a sweatshirt with arms tightly crossed and “LONER CLUB” emblazoned loudly on its chest.

“I dunno, it just reminded me of you,” he said.

Which was a) wildly accurate, b) very touching, and c) possibly an invitation to consider how I present myself to the world.

Anyway.

Caroline Rose came out with a wonderful album called Loner earlier this year. I’ve been spinning it a lot this week. More Of The Same is one of my favorite cuts, full of poppy hooks and fatalism. Buy it here.
