It’s Sunday. Your edges are feeling frayed. Something is exposed. You have to learn to retreat. To say no. To mend. It has nothing to do with being strong.

You want to lay low. You want to stay safe.

Rhye‘s sophomore album, Blood, is out now, giving me something sweet and tender to do while everyone else is watching a football game I guess?

The second album from the sensual pop-rnb group (and the first release since departure of original member Robin Hannibal) sees Mike Milosh embrace live instrumentation and a more organic production style. Blood revisits many of the ideas explored in the band’s first gorgeous, snappily produced album, Woman, and reimagines them as luxurious full-band affairs.
