EP // Sizzy Rocket – Hot Summer

What if Icona Pop had a baby with 70s punk and then that baby grew up to be a snotty teenager who ran away from home at the age of 16 and spent a year doing hard drugs under bridges and then cleaned up in time for senior year and despite receiving a full ride scholarship to Stanford for theoretical physics decided to sign on as a roadie for a local punk band’s first international tour where she fell in love with the drummer and recorded some beautiful demos with him which she burned dramatically in a trash can outside of a bar in east Berlin after a fight before his heroin habit caught up with the both of them leaving her beautiful and alone back in new york with a shitty drummerless punk band ready to start again once again, like we all wish we could.
anyway this is the 21 minute EP (mixtape?) from Sizzy Rocket that i just discovered & can’t stop listening to. bonus: she also has a punk project called Shiny Wet Machine.
