TUNES // Dawn Richard – Love Under Lights

In honor of this blustery Friday night that I’m spending huddled under quilts with a glass of something fiery and amber colored, here’s one of the best dance tracks of 2016 from one of the best dance records of 2016.
Dawn Richard (who also sometimes goes by the rather trendier D∆WN) is a New Orleans pop queen who’s quietly put out hit after hit since her 2013 debut album, Goldenheart. Her newest, Redemption, has so many excellent cuts it’s difficult to choose one to blog about (if you like this song, seriously just go listen to the whole album).
Anyway, I hope you’re out there somewhere dancing, (ideally to this song, finding love under the lights) but if you’re like me and needed a night in bed with some good tunes, this one will make your PJs feel a lot sexier.
