Twin Wave‘s brand new single, “Roll With It”, is delicately balanced between the dark and dreamy. An anxious, staccato melody cracks open the tune, before spilling into a rich and twinkling chorus. There’s something distinctly retro about this song – a nod to Sirius radio alt-rock that will almost certainly take you back a decade or so – delivered in a way that also feels innovative and forward-thinking.
Roll With It follows up the Brooklyn 3-piece’s spectacularly catchy 2016 single, “Matador“. From the sounds of it, we have a lot to look forward to from the band in the new year.
