The sentiment is either devastatingly isolating or weirdly, defiantly hopeful, depending on where your head’s at. It hits all the harder coming on the heels of Doctor’s jangly, pleasantly saccharine chorus.
Hideout is Manhattan-based songwriter Gabriel Rodriguez, who’s also a longtime band member of Cults. “Doctor” is the first single from his sophomore album, So Many Hoops / So Little Time, set to release on February 3rd 2017 via Small Plates Records.
