There’s this wise adolescence in Benton’s voice; a sweet vulnerability edged with existential neurosis. The voice of a kid who probably listened to a lot of Blink-182 and My Chemical Romance growing up and has now reached an age where he wishes he could still get behind complaining about how nobody likes you when you’re 23.
