Parcels – Anotherclock

When Kitsuné posts a track tagged as “funk pop,” I get pretty excited. When it turns out to be something as riffy and cool as this tune, it makes my whole morning. I think my favorite thing about this song is how understated the whole thing is. From the hushed snaps at the beginning, to the unassuming jazz piano riffs that come out of nowhere around 3:00, to the breathy vocals that float in and out of the funky melody, it’s all just so quietly wonderful.
