Kaleo – All The Pretty Girls

Sometimes I develop an unhealthy obsession with a song. This is one of those songs. It’s not an exaggeration to say that I’ve probably listened to it over 100 times in the last two days. It’s on repeat in the car, in the office, in the kitchen while I’m making dinner, right now as I’m writing this. I think I might be broken. But goddamnit if this isn’t the most perfectly sad, earnest, gorgeous thing I’ve heard since Skinny Love. 

Kaleo are rising Icelandic stars, with a recent feature on the soundtrack for HBO’s Vinyl. Their debut album, A/B, is out June 10. For all my LA locals, they have a free show at Amoeba Hollywood on June 9th. Be there.
