Tigertown – Lonely Cities

Lonely Cities has a killer chorus. In fact, it’s so good that the band decided to give us two. The first time around it comes in stripped down with little more than a beat and some sort of xylophone sounding percussive melody backing the catchy vocals. Then the guitar comes in with a little break so catchy I had to stop and listen to it three times before proceeding. Then the song erupts into a second iteration of the chorus that holds nothing back this time around. And if somehow you’re not hooked by now, there’s more: bring back that infectious verse, cue anthemic bridge, throw in a guitar line made of smiles.

I’m new to Tigertown but I’m here to stay. Can’t wait for the Lonely Cities EP (out February 5).
