Les Gordon – Atlas

So I’ve been obsessed with this song for a while now but for some reason never got around to posting… def my bad. Atlas is the lead track off Les Gordon’s truly inspired EP of the same name (a very apt name, given the expansive, transportive quality of this music). The otherwordly vocal chopping and melodic whimsy bring to mind an Odesza sensibility, but comparisons are an injustice – Atlas has a kind of organic grace that is all its own. This is the music in the flutter of a bird’s wing, the tune of a breeze.
