Guy Fox – The City Line

Though Guy Fox describe their music as an homage to Bay Area soul and funk, their first LP showcases their considerable musical range as it weaves deftly from light, brassy ballads to driving folksy melodies to the darkly pulsating tune that is The City Line. With such diverse sounds it would be easy for the album to become disjointed and unfocused but each track is an adventure connected to the last by the strength of the vision the band clearly has for their music.
