Cheap Sunglasses – RAC

A fun track from RAC’s new album, now the Single Of The Week on iTunes. The cheerful discontinuity between the scornfulness of the lyrics and the sweet disposition of the melody make this track delightfully reminiscent of his earlier ‘Hollywood’ – high praise, as far as I’m concerned. In related news, I have tickets to see the RAC show in LA in a couple weeks – I can’t think of a better occasion to dance away the March ennui.
